Providing Healthcare To Those Most In Need

Two Doctors Move Their Practice to Better Serve the Community

Fresno, Ca. (December 14th, 2006) – For 6 years Dr. Tejinder Randhawa and Dr. Tushar Patel have been partners in a pediatric practice.  Having focused their attention in West Fresno for over 10 years, these two doctors are truly passionate about serving indigent populations and with their newest investment, along with help from the Fresno Redevelopment Agency (RDA), they are soon going to be able to serve even better.  A 7400 sq. ft building at 5043 E. Kings Canyon in Fresno has been built by the two doctors for $1.2 Million.  The RDA has assisted with sidewalks and curbs.  Once opened, this 15 patient room office is expected to allow the doctors to see 100 patients per day and accommodate 90 individuals in the waiting room.  Along with the ability to help more people- both doctors have developed a flexible practice.  Dr. Randhawa and Dr. Patel both understand their patients have limited resources, and may depend on public transit as their only form of transportation.  They know that sometimes patients may be unable to get to their appointments on time- so the two will honor appointments that are late by as little as an hour, or as much as one day.  "By building these two clinics, we have reaffirmed our commitment to the underserved patient population" said Dr. Randhawa.
