VISION 2010

In an ongoing effort, the Mayor and Council, along with staff and downtown
stakeholders, have worked together to developVISION 2010. This new vision for
Fresno outlines many current and proposed projects designed to revitalize the
downtown area.

Redevelopment Agency staff, with the assistance of the renowned
planning and architecture firm, AC Martin Partners, Inc. incorporated existing plans
and projects, along with the new initiatives discussed above, into a composite
schematic image for downtown Fresno.
Those of us who have worked endlessly to create this vision of Fresno wish to convey
that this is not just another downtown plan, but an achievable action strategy, with
identified financial resources to make VISION 2010a reality.
